Romeo Santos Jr.

Romeo Santos, Jr., 66, of Victoria passed away November 30, 2011. He was born May 31, 1945, in Yorktown to Romeo Sr. and Chonita Ortiz Santos of San Antonio. He was retired as a process operator at DuPont. He was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Romeo is survived by his wife, Dolores Garcia Santos, of Victoria; daughters, Raquel Valis of Canyon Lake, and Sonia Rodriguez of Victoria; son, Staff Sergeant Romeo Santos, III and wife, Yujin, of South Korea; two sisters, two brothers, seven grandchildren and faithful companion, Scruffy.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Friday December 9, 2011, at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Nick Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the Old St. Luis Cemetery in Yorktown.

Flag Folding and taps will be performed by the Victoria Veterans Council.
