Rosa Irma Mendez, 80, of Wood Hi passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was born October 27, 1933, in Arneckeville to the late Geronimo and Florentina Rodriguez Gonzales. She was a singer and a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray C. Mendez; daughter, Melba Olivares; son, Frank G. Aguilar; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Guadalupe Cemetery.
