Rose Marie Sanchez, 73, of Victoria, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 25, 1952, in Houston, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jesus and Amelia Garcia and sister of the late Anita Martinez.
Rose was a devoted wife to the late Henry Sanchez, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. A woman of quiet strength and deep compassion, Rose's greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Her warm heart and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children: Henry (Christina) Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Melissa (Bobby) Medina, Jeffery (Lea) Sanchez, Cassie (Ignacio) Grifaldo, and Judi (Nathan) Beard. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jesse Sanchez, Karagen Sanchez, Kacen Sanchez, Josselyn Sanchez, Diago Medina, Octavian Lara, Toby Sanchez, Micah Sanchez, Alanah Beard, Esmay Sanchez, Jayden Sanchez, and Mila Grifaldo. Rose is also mourned by her dear sisters, Laura Garcia Lopez , Elizabeth Galindo, and Hilda Garcia Suarez.
A funeral service to honor Rose’s life will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Victoria, Texas, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10 a.m. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a woman whose legacy will live on through the generations she inspired.
Rose Marie Sanchez will be remembered for her kindness, her enduring love for her family, and her quiet, steady presence in the lives of those she held dear. Her memory will remain a guiding light in the hearts of all who loved her.
