

Viola loved her God, her church and her family. She taught Sunday school each week and volunteered her time to her beloved church family. She set a great example of what a loving Christian woman should be to everyone she came in contact with including her children, grandchildren and great children. She was a nurturer to all, not even the smallest creature would go unnoticed. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheryl (Steve) Sewalt of Meyersville, Debra (Roy) Moring of Beeville; son, Dale Eliot of Meyersville; six grandchildren, Jason Eliot, Lindsey Sewalt, Jordan Sewalt, Dalyn Eliot, Samuel Eliot and Stephen Eliot and three great grandchildren, Kase Eliot, Kole Eliot and Konnor Eliot.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Eliot in 1983, three brothers and a great grandchild, Kooper Eliot.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 6-7 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will be 10 AM on Friday, January 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Shamburger officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roy Moring, Steve Sewalt, Jason Eliot, Jordan Sewalt, Samuel Eliot and Stephen Eliot.
