Aleta Ann Custer, 73, of Hesperia, California, passed away December 27, 2016. She was born in Chico, California, on March 13, 1943. Aleta graduated from Artesia High School. She was married to Max Custer on June 1, 1962. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary and the High Desert Writers Guild. She had a passion for her children and grandchildren, good food, writing her books, and scary movies. Aleta is survived by her children Lane and Stacey Custer, Richard and Samantha Scobie, grandchildren Melisa, Myles, Jeremy, Danielle, Chace, Jeff, and Jenny, and siblings Rosanne Balistreri, Nada Farrell, and Mandle Roberts.
