Angie’s life was characterized by survival, strength, and growth. She endured a difficult beginning and many challenges, yet rose above them to become a woman of incredible resilience. She will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the unforgettable mark she left on the hearts of those who knew her. As a mother, grandmother, and friend, she gave endlessly of herself. She loved shopping and yard sales, not just for the finds, but for the fun of the hunt and the joy of giving. Out of many things Angie has accomplished, none meant more to her than being a mother and a grandmother. Her children were her pride, and her grandchildren were her joy. She gave her love freely and completely, putting their needs before her own and showing up for them in ways big and small. Her life was defined not by what she lacked, but by the love she gave, a love that will continue to live on through her family.
Although Angie did not follow a traditional career path, her life’s work was one of service, sacrifice, and unconditional love. She worked full time as an IHSS caregiver for her adopted sons, Gary and Raymond, dedicating her days and nights to their care. Both boys, who lived with Down syndrome and autism, depended on her completely for their daily needs. She never failed to meet those needs with patience, tenderness, and unwavering devotion.
Caring for Gary and Raymond was not just her job; it was her calling. She gave them safety, dignity, and a life filled with love, often putting their needs before her own without hesitation. Through this selfless role, Angie showed the true meaning of compassion, leaving a powerful example of what it means to love without limits.
Angie’s love and legacy will live on through her family. She will be forever missed and always remembered.
