Billie Anderson (85) crossed into heaven on December 16th.

Born in 1930 in Woodville, Oklahoma to Samuel Wright and Lena Henry she was one of four children. Survived by two younger siblings, Mona Joyce Stewart and Denny Henry, and preceded in death by her brother, Reagan, who died at the age of ten. On June 19, 1948 she married Tommy Anderson and they were married 54 years when he passed away in 2003. They had four children – Gary, Larry, Randy and Sandra. Gary passed away in 2015. Billie has 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Billie and Tommy Anderson served in Christian ministry their entire adult lives. They finished their ministry career at the First Assembly of God Church in Victorville, CA where they served for 23 years. Billie was the consulate pastor’s wife – teaching Sunday School, leading women’s groups, and serving wherever there was a need. So far, 5 of her grandchildren have followed her legacy into full time ministry. Her faith in Christ encouraged and challenged everyone who met her. Her commitment to her family created a model for many to follow.

There will be a memorial service at North Bible Church in Scottsdale, AZ on December 29th at 2:00PM. In addition, there will be a memorial service at the First Assembly of God Church in Victorville, CA on January 9th at 10:00AM.
