He was born July 12, 1955 in Honolulu, HI to Edward and Shirley Kealoha. He moved to California as a teenager where he lived the remainder of his life. Derek loved to spend time with his family going camping and fishing. He was also an avid bowler always striving for that 300!
Derek was preceded in death by his father Edward Kealoha.
He leaves behind his wife Tina Kealoha; their son Justin; their daughter Alicia; his son Derek, wife Catherine and their children Derek Kimo and KaiNani; his son Luke, companion Amanda and their children Ivan, Kayla, Daniel, Michael, Kalino and Elijah; his mother Shirley; brother Edwin; sisters Melody, Noelynn, Clorinda and Jaylee; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Desert View Memorial Park, 11478 Amargosa Rd. Victorville, CA. A celebration of his life will take place here, Monday September 8, 2014 at 1pm.
