On December 27, we would have celebrated our dad, Fred Peacock's 82nd birthday here on this earth, but instead, he is celebrating with our mom, his mom, and dad, his brother, his granddaughter, and his son in law, and of course, his precious Savior. He went to be with the Lord on December 21 after a sudden illness. We can't say he didn't get his money's worth out of this life; he's been living full throttle for God, as if he was running out of time. He made sure everyone he knew, and a whole lot of people he didn't know, were made aware of the love of Christ and His plan to make us who are unworthy, worthy.
He will be sorely missed by our family and those in his life he impacted daily. We are comforted by the thought that his worship here was sweet and will be even sweeter in the presence of God.
