Grace, I miss you, my friend. Spring and summer just wasn't the same without you. No chitchatting over the fence, no working the picnics, No hearing about all the family. You were a dear friend and I miss you so much. I always enjoyed our visits.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom was so kind and fun! Recently on my moms birthday, we were all together, she was playing games with my kid’s and I remember she said “ I really like this game, I want to buy it to play with my great-grandkids!”😊She was always smiling and I will never forget the times we had together. I know your mom loved you both so very much because she always talked about you all. My prayers for you are that God gives you peace knowing that she’s in a good place and now watching over you all.

Grace, I can’t begin to explain how much we all miss you.
You were such a kind, humble soul.
Never gave up on anyone.
I remember when you were a driving instructor and you took me driving for the first time in the instructor car, oh my I gave you so much anxiety ! Or when you rubbed my big ol pregnant belly and made me so much food or when I took the baby to see you and how happy that made you, came to visit me at work, asked me to have lunch, what I wanted for Christmas, I will never forget, everything you did and all that you still do for me till this day and forever. I love you grandma Grace. Till I see you again. This isn’t goodbye.

My neighbor, my co-worker, my friend,
     My head is still reeling from Gina telling me the news that you passed. I told Mike over the phone and it still seems unreal. 
    I think back to when we met. I had just moved back to CA from FL. I was living with my Mom to take care of her. I saw you in the backyard looking for twigs to start a fire in your fireplace.  I went to the back and asked you if you wanted my firewood because we couldn’t use it with my Mom’s oxygen. So Gina came over with her truck and we loaded it up. I remember the funny look you gave me. A perfect stranger, the neighbor you had never seen before, giving you firewood. 
     That was just the beginning of a friendship. We would stand at the back of the backyard just talking about anything and everything until we couldn’t stand anymore. We spoke about grandchildren and you blew my mind when you told me you had great-grandchildren. No way you looked old enough to be a great-grandmother! If that back fence could talk lol!!
     I am glad we had the time we had. It was a good friendship. We always found something to laugh about. With you there was always something to laugh about.
     I will miss catering with you. You were such a hard worker. Needless to say, Mike always had to remind us we were catering not visiting. But when the guests would show up it was all professional. Then you went above all to make sure the guests were satisfied when they walked away from you. Grace I am glad we became friends.  I will not forget you ever. I dislike we had not visited but maybe two times since the pandemic. Mike and I missed you. We were feeding meals to the at-risk citizens of the high desert and you were helping your daughters and all your grand and great-grandchildren. I still can't believe it.
Mike and I will miss you a lot. I will check in on Gina. I know you and the Angels are dancing. We love you !!

Beautiful Auntie Gracie, with a very heavy heart we say farewell for now. We are comforted in knowing you and our mother are together once again. We know she greeted you with open and loving arms. I had known of you all my life,  but was never able to put a face to my "Tia-Grace in Cali" Then when I finally saw you, no question you were my tia, spitting image of my mom and my heart melted, I cant tell you how I wish we had more time, to share and make more memories but the time and talks we had were priceless to me, I was glad to have known such beautiful kind soul, who I  connected with in such a short time. Please say hi to mom for me... I love you Tia,.Rest In Heaven.

I was so shocked to hear that your mom had passed I'm in very, very sorry to hear this news.  As you all know we were very good friends at one time. Grace was my next door neighbor she will be missed I saw her all the time getting the mail to working on her yard to decorating the house for the holidays small talks about anything nice smile all around wonderful person the lord has gotten a beautiful person. 

My heart is broken from the loss of my sister, Grace.  I was so far away but I always felt her close to me.  I know that our good Lord has welcomed her into His Kingdom and in time she will be there to greet me when I join her.

Grace was my next door neighbor, but I think we meant more than that to each other: we confided in each other,  shared sympathies, gave each other gentle advice, supported each other, shared food--basically, all the little things that add up to so much. I cry now because I miss her and I sympathize with her family.  My parents are buried at Desert View and I will be buried with them when my time comes. I hope--and pray--that we will all be together again some day. Until then, life goes on and we put one foot in front of the other.  May Grace's family members be consoled in their grief.
