Kathleen (Kathy) Bringhurst Robinson, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, after a prolonged battle with illness. She was 80 years old. Kathy was born on June 23, 1944, in Lehi, Utah, to Don and Dora Bringhurst.
Kathy moved to Southern California, where she met and married the love of her life, James (Jim) Robinson. Together, they raised a beautiful family and made their home primarily in Walnut, California. Following the passing of her husband, Kathy lived in Nevada for eight years before returning to California in her final year.
A devout Christian, Kathy found comfort in her faith, knowing that she is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and free from pain. Her family takes solace in the knowledge that she is at peace.
Kathy and Jim were blessed with six children, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robinson, and two of their daughters, Margaret and Rachel. Kathy is survived by her sons, James Robinson Jr. of Colorado, and Steven (Cathryn) Robinson of Georgia; daughters, Carol (Ronnie) Metcalf of California, and Rosalee (David) Starr of Nevada. Her legacy lives on in her large, loving family, who will continue to cherish her memory.
