Riley was born November 9, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to
Riley W. Stanton and Georgia E. Stanton
He was a Veteran of the Korean War and served in the Navy.
He worked as a machinist for Lever Brothers for 37 years
He went to Rio Hondo Junior College for more studies as a machinist
and for Libbey Glass for 5 years before retiring
He attended First Assembly of God Church in
Serria Vista, AZ until moving back to CA in 2021.
Riley is preceded in death by his father Riley Wayne Stanton,
mother Georgia Earnistine Stanton and sister Sandra Toth
and Nephew Johnny Stanton and Leslie Debois
and Niece Debra Debois
Riley is survived by his wife Sally L. Stanton.
His children Riley W. Stanton, Roberta L Eppinger and James E. Stanton
His Grandchildren: Danielle Stantoznick, George Colley, Kelly Prochnow, Nicole Stanton,
Douglas Eppinger, Regan Stanton, Riley Turner and Amber Stanton
Great Grandchildren: Aiden, Brennan, Joseph, Karissa, Christian,
Charlotte, Kamryn, Olie, Nova, Charlotte and Faith
Brother: Tommy Stanton and Sister: Waylean Figueroa
He has 9 Nieces and Nephews
Pallbearers will be Riley W. Stanton, James E. Stanton, George Colley, Douglas Eppinger, Joseph Summer and Robert Turner.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital
and St. Jude’s in memory of Riley J. Stanton
