Delane Dunbar Navarre

Delane D. Navarre, 67, died Thursday, December 10, 2009, in an Orange, TX, hospital. She lived in Vinton most of her life and attended St Mark Lutheran Church in Bridge City, TX. She enjoyed taking care of her grandkids, cooking and cards. Delane enjoyed making others happy. Survivors include her children Terri Shull and her husband Donnie of Vinton, Sharon Trahan and her husband Shane of Vinton, Heather Trahan and her husband Jonathan of Bridge City, Tx., Penny Bellow of Vinton, Michell Brasfield and her husband Dennis of Milwaukee, Wi., and Kellon Navarre of Greer, Sc., siblings Ronnie Dunbar and his wife Peggy, Joe Dunbar, Vickie Foreman and her husband Tom, Kelly Dunbar and Tommie Dunbar and his wife Bertha; grandchildren Tiffany, Colby, Donavan, Lanie, BJ, Christian and Kurt; and great grandchildren Olivia and Zadon, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Joseph Navarre, brother Dale and sisters Carolyn and Sally. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 14, in Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Paul Zoch will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday and from 8-10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
