He was a good man, at work and at play.
He was a good husband, and I'm grateful to Barbara and her family for their love.
He was a good brother, I should know, I grew up with him. 
He was a good uncle, for little my children got to know him.
He'll always remain in my mind and memory.

Barb and Family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Pete was a good friend and will be sadly missed.  He was lucky to enjoy his work for so many years.  He will always be a part of Churchill Downs.  I miss you my friend!

Barbara and family, may God be with you during this most difficult time. Pierre was a special person, he was very much loved. When I first met the two of you I knew then that there was something special. Pete was a good person and I will truly miss him!

Pierre lived a full life
He loved spending time with
his children and his wife.
Fixing things around the house
sometimes the MacGyver way
Always busy, never idol,
at work or at play.
On the outside, he was tough as nails
and for his beliefs he always stood
On the inside he was kind and gentle
helping whomever he could.
From his choice in cars, to his jest about life,
he often made us laugh
He enjoyed reading the Bible
and he knew the correct path.

Barb and family, I met Pierre in 1985 at VictoryLand and worked with him all over the US.   He was a friend and one of the smartest people I have ever known. Pierre will be missed by many.    You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Aunt Bobbie, I can remember such wonderful memories with Uncle Pierre. Can you imagine what him, Uncle Billy & Uncle Reno are talking about!! I hope y'all know how much I love you all and are keeping you in my prayers. If you need anything--Please let me know! I LOVE YOU!!

Barbara and girls, I am so sorry for your loss.  It was my privilege to work with Pierre for a couple of years on the 500s.  He was an incredible man and will be greatly missed this weekend.
