Charles F. Welker, 74, passed away in Virginia Beach on Friday. Charlie was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles and Violet Welker. He is also predeceased by his sister, Barbara Qualentone. Charlie retired from both the US Navy and the Naval Ship Yard working with internal communications. High spirited with a sense of humor he could make light of any situation. He loved deep sea fishing, gardening and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Suzann Welker and daughter, Dawn Welker.
