Donna D. Scott

Donna D. (Hall) Scott, 78, passed away on December 15, 2013 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, CDR William R. Scott (USN Retired). Survivors include her son, William Keith Scott; her daughter, Linda Corinne Blount and husband Steve; her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Torian and husband Keith; grandchildren, Kathleen, Robert and his wife Ashley, Michael and Kimberly; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Brody. Donna was born in Champaign County, Ohio to Meffard and Carrie Hall. Her surviving siblings are sister, Geneva Hess; brother, Donald Hall and wife Mary; and sister, Norma Jean Keeran. Donna was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose spirit touched the lives of many and will live on forever.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A celebration of Mrs. Scott’s life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. by The Rev. Kenny Bryant. Interment will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater, P. O. Box 12693, Norfolk, VA 23451, in memory of Donna D. Scott.
