Mrs. Emma Soule Pond, a loving wife, a mother and a grandmother was born in San Juan, Echague Isabela Philippines in 1952. She graduated High-school from Lyceum of Echague and attended 3 years of college at the University of Baguio majoring in Business commerce. She was the middle child of Marcelina Manuel and Modesto Manuel. She has 3 brothers and 3 sisters: George Manuel(deceased),Renato Manuel, Arcadio Manuel, Divina Fiddes, Edna Manuel (deceased) and adopted sister Arlene Manuel. She has 3 sons, Eric Soule, Charlito Soule and Michael Soule.
Mrs Pond worked for the Department of Defense, Joint Services of the Armed Forces for 2 decades as a budget analyst. She was good with numbers and a problems solver.
Mrs Pond was an avid church goer and that is where she met her wonderful husband, Robert Pond. She has a big heart, always ready to extend help to those who are in need.
In her pastime, she loves to garden and experiment with different recipes to cook.
She is survived by her husband Robert Pond, her brothers; Renato Manuel and Arcadio Manuel, sisters; Divina Fiddes and Arlene Manuel, her 3 sons; Frederick Soule and wife Judith, Charlito Soule and Michael Soule and wife Nicki. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and is loved and will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
