Emma W. Rees, 92, passed away on April 4, 2012 in Newport News, VA. She was born on March 30, 1920 in Norfolk, VA to the late Abrum and Mattie Walters. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Walter H. Rees, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Walter H. Rees, Jr. and wife Prudence; and George D. Rees and wife Janice; granddaughter, Anna Crowder, and great granddaughter Emma Crowder.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 12:00pm at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA.
