Mr. Clore was born in Culpepper, VA to Bessie and William Champ Clore. He retired from the City of Virginia Beach in 1999 as a Conventions Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his 3 brothers (Elijah, Russell, and Edward). He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Clore; his son Emmit B. Clore Jr. (Akella); his daughter Betsy C. Evans (Norris); and a host of grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and cousins.
