Norfolk - Jeffrey I. Gerardo, 40, a native of Norfolk, VA. passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at Sentara Leigh Hospital. He was a graduate of Maury High School and was employed by WR Systems as a senior technician.
He is predeceased by his parents, Jose and Olivia May Gerardo and is survived by his fiancé, Gloria Abrigo; their sons, Christopher and Michael; twin brother, Robert; brother, Joseph; sisters-in-law, Cherry and Janet; niece, Vanessa; nephews, Robert Jr. and Jordan; and many aunts and uncles who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 at the funeral home. A graveside will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
