I am so sorry to learn of John's passing and apologize for not being there with you to grieve.  Adriane contacted me last night as she had just heard and assumed I knew how to contact you.  I lost my phone and all contact information shortly after Kathy's wedding so was completely out of touch.  However, I want you to know that your family means the world to me.  As odd as this may sound for the time it has been since I have been in contact... I feel like I lost a brother.  I do hope that you are all healing and know that John is with God and is most likely watching over you.  I can only imagine how you are feeling and hope that your happy memories of John are helping your cope with his absence.  I don't have any way to reach you so am hoping this message gets through. I knew John from Mens Wharehouse. He was my man. I always enjoyed talking to him and felt he always did right by me. What a shock it was to learn today that he has passed on to a better place. He will be missed by me for sure.

John, your warm spirit and eternal smile will forever remind us of all that is good in life.  The loss of such a kind and gentle soul reminds us of what is truly important in life.  Farewell, my friend.  My thoughts and prayers for the Balmaceda family during this difficult time.  Semper Fidelis.

I, too, was friends w/ John in high school.  I didn't move here until the start of 11th grade and John was so kind, nice and welcoming.  He was a wonderful person and his passing is truly a loss.

John, Joel and I will never forget you and all that you've done for us.  We'll always remember that you immediately said yes when we asked you to be our photographer for our wedding because we couldn't afford one.  You didn't hesitate at all, just happy to do it for us.  We'll always remember your smile and your laugh. Even though we only saw each other during family gatherings or at the store, you were always so sweet and welcoming it's as if not a day had gone by since we saw each other.
