Josephine Alease Williams

Josephine Alease Williams, 96, passed away peacefully at home in Norfolk on January 3, 2019. She was born on February 5, 1922 in Virginia to the late John and Lillian Sheets. Alease is also predeceased by her husband, Manning Williams and her two sons, Manning (Scooter) Lee Williams and Carlton (Corky) Trent Williams. She was a homemaker who took care of her family while her husband served in the US Navy. She loved to garden and spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Thomas Sheets, her sister Norma Sanderlin, her daughter-in-law Sherry Williams, her grandson David Williams (Jennifer), her granddaughter Stephanie Weidenhammer (Bradley) and her great grandchildren Wyatt Williams and Josephine (Josie) Weidenhammer. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A. M., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk.
