Kingston “King” Dricho Silvis, 15, of Virginia Beach, VA., beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, student, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2022. Born October 11th, 2007, he was the son of Ron Dricho Sanderson and Kate Louise Silvis.
King was known for a cheerful smile that could warm up any room and an infinitely kind heart toward all those he met. He brought joy and happiness to everyone around him. He attended Lynnhaven Middle School in Virginia Beach where he was a member of the National Junior Honor Society. At school, he had many friends amongst the faculty and students. He was an avid Xbox gamer, and he aspired to become a professional gamer one day. He was also a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
King had a mindset of limitless positive energy. He was born with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, and he was a positive advocate for himself and others living with Muscular Dystrophy.
King is survived by his parents, Ron Sanderson and Kate Silvis; sister, Knightlee; brother, Kardizen; grandma, Ro-Ro Silvis; aunt, Regina Owens; uncles, Bryant Sanderson and David Silvis (Tatiana), and an extended family. King will always be honored and remembered by his family and friends.
A visitation for Kingston will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith & Williams Funeral Home/Kempsville, 4889 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. His final resting place will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 North Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23454.
