Ronald William Worley passed away peacefully in his home on July 12, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. He was born to the late Garland and Nettie Lee Worley in Williamsburg, VA on February 7, 1952. He worked in the construction industry most of his life as a heavy equipment operator. His hobbies and his passion was being outdoors farming and hunting, collecting antique cars and radios and outdoor cooking. He loved to cook anything he could put on a grill or in a smoker and them give it all away. He was a member of the Hunters for the Hungry organization feeding people in need and the Antique Automobile Association of Tidewater, picking up a few awards for his restored 1962 Malibu.
He was loved by many and a blessing to those who really knew him. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia L. Worley and a brother Weaver Worley and a host of family and friends. He joins in heaven, as well as his parents, his daughter Chessie Lee Worley, two brothersWayne and James “Bud” Worley and a sister Peggy Lee Sorey.
