

He was born on January 10, 1929 in Payson, Utah to the late John Nels Berge and Veda Stark.
He served a two and a half year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in southern Sweden.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Wayne Kay was married to the love of his life, Paulene, and they celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past June 7th.
He attended Junior College in Coalinga, California, received his Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University, and did graduate work at Merrill Palmer Institute and the University of Michigan.
He worked at Michigan National Bank, Berge Exploration, and created his own business, Names, Games, and Puzzles.
He served in the church in numerous callings everywhere they lived: Michigan, Colorado, Florida, and Virginia.
A celebration of Mr. Berge’s life will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011, 6:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4780 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462 and on Friday, February 18, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8100 Top of the World Drive, Salt Lake City, UT, 84121-5910. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Payson City Cemetery, 439 West Utah Street, Payson City, Utah 84651.
