I am sorry to hear of Kay's death.  How well I remember the wonderful association we shared in Michigan. You were both wonderful examples to all those who were fortunate enough to know you there. We treasure the memories of our shared experiences.  We send our prayers and love to all of you.

It has been a blessing to our family to have known Wayne K. and you Pauline. You both have been such an example of faithful service to Heavenly Father, your family and your fellowman.  We admire the strength, courage and integrity Wayne exemplified in his life.  Your wonderful family is such a tribute to you two and a witness of your success as parents and grandparents.  We love and appreciate you both.  We have such fond memories of times we spent with you.  Truly Wayne was a disciple of Christ and reflected the Savior's love and goodness to all who he came into contact with.  We are so grateful to have you both as extended members of our family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Because of Kay's numerous wood creations that are in my home, I am constantly reminded of our long standing friendship which I cherish.

Pauline, a big space remains where you and Wayne resided in the Arvada Colorado Stake. I'll never forget Wayne's story about being in a BYU student's parade and being a part of a "band"... with band instruments....a Gadiantin BAND member. I still giggle and think of Wayne when I read those pertinent passages. I also recall the many times Wayne cut out a variety of woodworking items for me and how fun this creative time period was personally. We're grateful to have had the chance to share part of both of your lives while you were in Arvada.

Judy and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Bro Wayne. However we feel warm and wonderful memories of Wayne. He was a strong and gentle  example of how to live and and love. He was non judgemental and we felt so at ease and comfortable with both Wayne and Pauline. They were supportive of each other and were an example to us. 
We still have our number address on the front of our house that he made for us. A picture of our house was in our local paper as an example of how to display address so police fire and guests could easily find you..

Dan would often comment to me after Brother Berge's high priests lesson how good it was.  He said that he was so knowledgeable and interesting. Daniel also enjoyed his visits in your home with Brother 
Berge.  He would come home advising me of what a great visit they had had.
Brother Berge was inspirational to me because of his positive attitude and cheerfulness despite his many challenges.  l'm sure the family's much love and support helped sustain him to the very end.

This truly was a great man!  I enjoyed having him in the ward and feel it was an honor to be a part of his life this last few years.  He was such an example and a fabulous teacher.  I will never forget how worried he was about his calling as HP teacher - he would not rest well until he knew that his class would be taken care of.  This is dedication.  This is living a Christ like life.  May his family be blessed forever for his example and testimony.

"Many are called but few are chosen." To the amazing Berge and Brimhall families, we love you. Brother Berge was an inspiration for so many and had the ability to touch lives. His heart was bigger than life itself. Our family has been blessed by the efforts of this great man. Life is full of irony. I remember Uncle Kay had a great sense of humor.  Always upbeat, always had a joke, or would tease me about something.  It was always fun at christmas opening up a puzzle or game in the family gift from the Berge's.  A life well lived, thank you Uncle Kay.
