Steve, Janet, and Mrs. Koenig,

The world is made lesser by Mr. Koenig's passing. May God hold you all in His gentle embrace during this time of grief. 

Mr. Koenig was one of the sweetest men I knew. Always kind, compassionate, loving, and open hearted. I remember as a child always being so happy to see him with his beautiful smile after church services. I would sometimes just stand and watch his face as the adults engaged in conversation.

I will miss him.

Bill was a fellow parachutist and was highly respected.  We connected again when living in Virginia Beach and always enjoyed telling stories of our Navy career about El Centro, he was one of the good shipmates.  We shall keep the family in our thoughts and prayers.
