Abraham James Stryd, age 83 passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. Abraham was born May 12, 1937 in Hanford, California.

Abraham is survived by his wife, Nell Stryd; son Jim Stryd (Diane); daughter Elizabeth Downard (Bill); son Stephen Stryd (Brenda); and daughter Kristen DeJong (Kevin). He is also survived by twenty five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Two grandchildren, Troy Stryd and Conner DeJong preceded him in death.

A graveside service for Abraham will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 at 10:30 am at Hanford Cemetery District, 10500 S. Tenth Street, Hanford, CA 93230.

Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Stryd, Jeremy Stryd, Stephen Stryd, Christian DeJong, Seth DeJong, Jude DeJong, James Stryd, Aaron Morales, Peter Downard, Anthony Stryd, Trent Stryd, Ayden Stryd and Timothy Downard.
