

Alice was born in Visalia, California on April 26, 1958 to Adeline (Ivy) Adame & Jose Araujo. She graduate from Redwood High School in 1976. Alice continued her education and received two certifications for Drug and Alcohol Abuse counseling , working for San Joaquin County for 17 years and Visalia New Visions for three years.
Alice, a recovered addict helped numerous women at New Visions and Sisterhood of Grace through her counseling and caring. She was never too busy to listen and counsel the young women she came into contact with.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her and by the many people whose lives she touched and helped them make a difference.
Alice is survived by two sons - Joseph Hernandez and Juanito Huerta, both of Visalia; stepchildren – Lisa Hedrick of Oregon, Angela Culcasi of Antioch, CA, Sharon Patrizio of San Jose, CA and Charles Hedrick of Stockton, CA; her siblings – Louis Rivera of Stockton, CA, Mary Alaniz, Irene Gomez, Johnny Macias, all of Visalia, CA and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
