Anna Martha Winslow

Anna Martha Winslow was born in Belvedere Township, CA on January 5, 1945 to Gilbert and Anna Lovett and passed away with her family by her side in Farmersville, CA on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the age of 76.

Anna settled in Fresno, CA with her parents where she would later meet the love of her life, Saule Winslow. Anna and Saule married on August 30, 1971 in Visalia, CA and relocated to Farmersville, CA to raise their five children. During her golden years, Anna accompanied her grandson and granddaughter-in-law in Visalia, CA, but would eventually return home to Farmersville where she lived out her remaining days.

Anna is well known for her involvement in the city of Farmersville. Alongside Saule, she spent many years volunteering at various community events: playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus at the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, being active members of the Booster Club, helping organize the annual Memorial Day parade, and volunteering at the Farmersville Library. Later in life, Anna enjoyed card games, word search puzzles, visits to Boss Hogg’s Country Kitchen, and most significantly, watching her family grow.

Those who knew Anna knew her for always being kind, generous, having a great love for animals, and making those around her laugh. As the matriarch of the family, her irreplaceable presence and love will be greatly missed.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Saule Winslow; her parents, Gilbert Lovett and Anna Lovett; as well as her sister, Mary Jane Banning.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margie (Danny), son Edmund (Teresa), son Luke (LaVonna), son Michael (Samantha), and son Mark. Anna will also be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren: Joseph (Zhanique), Peter, Vannessa, Ariel (Joshua), Alisha, Edmund Jr., Alex, Brett, Anthony, Rachel, Alex, Randi, and Colton; her four great-grandchildren, Dayzhanay, Joseph Jr., Malakai, and Ciara; her brother Richard (Irene); her nephew John; her cousin Robert, and dear friends.
