She was born in Visalia, California on January 17, 1962 to loving parents John Pantoja Garcia, Sr. and Rita May (Wells) Garcia. Annamarie was raised and educated in Porterville, California, attending Bellevue Elementary, Bartlett Middle School and Porterville High School. She furthered her education at Fresno City College and Heald College. Annamarie completed her Sacraments at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Porterville and was baptized at St. Anne's.
She was loving and caring person to all that she came in contact with throughout her life. Annamarie was most caring to her mother, Rita. She lived with her mother and took care on one another for her lifetime. She is greatly loved by her family and friends. Annamarie cared deeply for the elderly and enjoyed children, especially her nieces and nephews.
Her hobbies included working on cars, computers, swimming and barrel racing on her horse, White Lightening whom she loved dearly. She also greatly loved her cat Azreal, who was her baby. Annamarie was an avid San Francisco 49'er fan.
She will be greatly missed by her mother, Rita and by her family.
Annamarie is survived by her mother, Rita; her brothers and sisters John Garcia, Jr. (Esther), Katrina Garcia, Gabriel Garcia (DeMara) and Jessica Rose Arellano (Frank); nieces and nephews Monique, Juan Ruben, Krystle, Stephen Ray, Gabriella and Angelita; numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Visalia on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 9 a.m. with burial following at Visalia Public Cemetery District, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia.
