Christina Menchaca went to meet the Lord on January 7, 2021 in Visalia, California. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 5, 1961 to Manuel and Maria (Ramirez) Hernandez. She was one of eight children and was raised in Idaho for most of her life. She had her first daughter Davianna in Idaho. Christina worked hard to support Davianna and herself. She moved to California where she met Rosario Menchaca. He was a migrant worker and they believed that California would provide better work opportunities for them. They settled in Tulare County. They married and had 3 additional children, Jesse, Andres and Laura. After having Andres, Christina went to Porterville College to be certified as a medical transcriptionist to have a better career. Christina worked many days and long hours to ensure her family did not need for anything. Christina loved to read. She would spend her past time under a blanket and just get lost in a book. Christina was a beautiful soul. She was kind, generous, and loyal. Christina loved dearly her children and grandchildren who were her world. She would do anything and everything for them.
Christina deeply missed by Rosario Menchaca; her children, Davianna, Jesse, Andres and Laura; her grandchildren, Marcelo, Felicity, Celisa, Johnny, Skylar, Aidan, Alexandra, Jyren, and Jemberlyn.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.millerchapel.com for the Menchaca family.
