

Clay Ronald Sannar was born August 19, 1970, to Ronald and Rita (Little) Sannar of Gridley, California. He was the second oldest of 11 children -- nine of whom survived early childhood. He attended Gridley schools, and graduated from Gridley High School in 1988.
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ireland Dublin Mission from 1989 to 1991. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he graduated with a degree in Agronomy in 1995.
Clay and Julie Daddow of Gridley were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple in May 1994. They have six sons, ages four months to thirteen years. They have lived in Visalia, California since 1996. Clay was the general manager of Soil Basics, an agricultural fertilizer and chemical company based in Visalia.
Clay has served in many positions in the LDS Church and was currently serving as Bishop of Visalia 2nd Ward. He was a devoted husband and father, finding his greatest joy in being with his family, playing ball with his boys, and serving others.

Gridley on Tuesday, Sept. 7th at 11:00 A.M. at the L.D.S. Church on Spruce Street.
Clay will be buried at the Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
