Eloise was born on January 31, 1930 (though for many years, it was believed her birthday was February 1, 1930) to George and Virginia Williams. She was raised and attended school in Visalia, California.
On December 26, 1962, Eloise married her love, Donald Jacobs. In her younger days, she was a spitfire who loved to put her lead foot to use by racing cars. Nana loved spending time with family and her animals at home. Eloise enjoyed cooking and baking. She liked to crochet and tried to pass this skill on to her granddaughters. For years, she was dedicated to feeding and caring for the homeless cats in her neighborhood. Eloise had a fondness for joke telling and would share her jokes with everyone. She would relax with word search puzzles, watching game shows, her soap operas, Westerns, and especially enjoyed crime shows from Perry Mason to Criminal Minds and CSI. One of her favorite things to do was to just sit and talk. Nana liked going to the zoo and absolutely loved trips to the beach.
We are going to miss your feistiness, your stubborn streak, your big heart, your beautiful smile and laughter. She was there for everyone and all of her animals!
Eloise is preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia Williams; sisters, Geri Murphy, Darlene Choate, and Barbara Williams; daughters, Claren Zens and Peggy Zens and niece Jolene Williams.
