Fern Emma Lammers was born in Parkston, SD in 1920. When very young the family moved to Huron where Fern lived until 17, then moved to Salem OR. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene College then married Don W Lammers. They moved to Minnesota where she taught High School as Don pastored. Later they moved to Pasadena CA, then Santa Barbara, CA, and on to Visalia CA where she taught English and reading until she retired in 1986. Fern went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2015 in San Dimas, CA.
She leaves behind a daughter, Joni Heersema & husband Dan of San Dimas, CA, a son, Larry Lammers & wife Robin of Glendora, CA, 5 grandchildren, & 2 great grandchildren.
