Frances was a devout Roman Catholic who loved her family dearly. She spent many years singing in the church choir at Holy Family and spending time with her large family. Frances and her husband of 72 years, Remijio, raised seven children. She loved helping care for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was feisty and clever and was very adamant about women’s rights. She would tell it like it is with a smile. Frances also had a great sense of humor. If she wanted to tell a story she thought was funny, you would often end up laughing without ever hearing it because she would laugh so hard that she couldn’t stop long enough to tell it. Frances was loving and kind and will be greatly missed. She will now be in eternal rest with her daughter, Linda.
Frances is survived by her husband, Remijio Hernandez, six children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A Rosary service will be held on January 8, 2024 at 8:30 am at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 North Court Street, Visalia, CA with burial at Visalia Public Cemetery District 1300 W. Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA.
