Josefina Figueroa Huidor
(July 26, 1937 - Feb 6, 2026)
Roberto Huidor, longtime Goshen resident, passed away on Jan 31. His loving wife Josefina passed away the following week.
Married at the age of 21, and spending their entire adult lives together, their loving family saw their close passing as a romantic blessing. They would not have wanted to live without each other.
Roberto and Josefina were proud immigrants who came to this country with very little and were able to accomplish the American dream. They arrived to Dinuba in 1976 and then moved to Goshen in 1980. They would spend the rest of their lives in Goshen, California.
They were the proud parents of 9 children and proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren.
They accomplished what every family strives for - from owning their own home to being able to retire and enjoy their golden years in comfort. In spite of humble beginnings, all of their children went on to gain university educations, including from such prestigious universities as UCLA, Stanford, Yale, and Harvard.
Roberto and Josefina were lucky enough to enjoy 25 years of retirement together and were privileged enough to travel to dream destinations from New York City to Italy. But their favorite vacation destination was their beloved Mexico. Their yearly vacations took them to the best cities in the country including Cancun, Puebla, Merida, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, and their beloved birthplace of Amacueca, Jalisco.
They lived the full and happy life anyone could wish for, and their family would love for everyone to remember them as such.
Amongst their many friends and family, they leave behind their loving children:
Cruz Huidor of Los Angeles Ca.
Yolanda Lopez of Fresno, Ca.
Rafael Huidor of Watsonville, Ca.
Sergio Huidor of Altadena, Ca.
Francisco Huidor of Goshen, Ca.
Antonio Huidor of Los Angeles, Ca.
Oscar Huidor of New York, NY.

and

A funeral mass will be held Feb 21 at Holy Family church in Visalia. The burial will be March 14 at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in San Diego, Ca.
