Joseph Anthony Bernardo

Joseph "Joe" Bernardo went to meet the Lord on November 10, 2016 in Visalia, CA. He was born in Milpitas, CA to Antonio and Mary (Estacio) Bernardo. Joe grew up and attended high school in Los Banos, CA. and he was a long time resident of Visalia.Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed making everyone laughs with his jokes and pranks.

Joseph loved gardening, animals and fishing. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents. Antonio and Mary; his sisters, Marie Faust and Eleonore Perucci; his brothers, Larry Bernardo, Anthony Bernardo and Richard Bernardo; and his grandchildren Jennifer Carley, Christopher Bernardo and Alex Bernardo.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara (Pacheco) Bernardo; sons, Joseph (Shawna) Bernardo, Jr., Antonio (Anna) Bernardo, Robert (Lauri) Bernardo and David Bernardo; daughter, Mary (James) Ibbs; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Rose Marie Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews .

Visitation will held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4-8pm at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 608 N. Church St., Visalia on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at 10:30a.m. followed by interment in Visalia Public Cemetery.
