Joe was truly an inspiration to me.  His faith in my abilities helped me to grow as a worker and person.  I shall miss him.

Mr Daniel was my favorite teacher in my senior year at Central Catholic. I credit him with my knowledge and love of our government and politics.

I began working for Joe in 1987 when he was the administrator for the Private Industry Council, it later became the Workforce Investment Board and later I retired in 2004 after 17 years.
Joe and I often spoke about his family in depth, he was extremely proud of them spoke highly of his sister and her children often and especially a nephew which the name escapes me.
Joe and I shared the love of ND and Raider football.
He will be missed by many.

Mr. Daniel was a dear friend to my parents, Carol & Bob Bakle.  I think I went to several ND games thanks to his tickets.  May he rest in peace.

My prayers are with Mr. Daniel's family. I had him as a teacher @ CC in the '50's. He was very nice, always smiling & friendly. I was impressed by his obit that stated "he prayed for his former students". It was nice to know that someone was praying for me, from so many years ago. Thank you, may you rest in peace.

Joe was one of a kind.  He treated his students at CCHS with respect, dignity and care.

He wanted us to better ourselves!

He taught me voting was a privilege And I've never missed a vote. Was in his class when President Kennedy was shot.

He was a great government teacher at CC.  I remember him fondly.

I am proud to call Joseph Daniel my friend, yes he will be missed by many who knew him. Joe touched my life, may those that knew him reach out and accept God!
