Kenneth Roderick was born in West Virginia on August 20, 1930. He passed away at the age of 91 at home in Visalia, CA on July 16, 2021 surrounded by his family, under the wonderful care of Kaweah Health Hospice. Kenneth was long time resident of Visalia after relocating to the central valley from San Francisco where he had started his family with love of his life, Marguerite. They had five wonderful children: Kathleen, Kenneth Jr., Antoinette, Evelyn and James whom he loved very much. He was a Marine Corp Veteran, serving in the Korean War and retired from Diamond International as a plant supervisor. Throughout his life, he had a passion for his community as shown through his work with the American Cancer Society and Visalia Gleaning Seniors. Kenneth will most be remembered for his dedication and love for family and friends, the Marines, San Francisco 49ers, apple pie, his dachshund pups: Dapple and Dixie as well as his most recent companion, a Chihuahua, Baby. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Marguerite and survived by his children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He lived a long, healthy life and will be missed immensely. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society and Visalia Gleaning Seniors.
