

Leah ”Skeet” Goodyear Marsh passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 99. Leah was born in Rapid City, South Dakota. Leah and Lyle “Hap” Goodyear were married in Utah in 1933. They lived in Wyoming where their three children were born. Leah and Hap moved to Englewood, CO in 1948.
After her husband passed away, Leah returned to school and became a Rehabilitation Specialist Technician and worked for the State of Colorado. After retiring in 1975, she and her mother moved to Visalia. Leah and her son restored several historical homes in the area.
Leah was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn and Albert Leary; husbands Lyle Goodyear and Robert Marsh; her daughter Karlene Kaye Vandever and Kaye’s husband Don Vandever.
Leah is survived by her son Robert and wife Rebecca, her son Don and wife Beverly, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.
Leah was very independent and loved by all. She lived a very full life and will be missed by all.
We wish to thank Kaweah Delta Hospice for making possible for her sons to care for her at home.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Littleton, CO.
