Lisa Dawn Burleson, fondly called “Dawn” by her friends and family, was called home to Christ on the morning of March 12, 2019. In the days leading up to her passing, Dawn was surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren and spoke words of encouragement and hope over them, as was her nature.
Dawn was a Christian, a wife, and a mother and clung unbendingly to her God and her family. She will be forever honored by her husband, four children, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren who wait in patient expectation to meet her again in the house of her Heavenly Father. Living as a steadfast woman of faith, her memory cannot be separated from that of constant praise and reliance on the hope of eternal life. As a wife, she will be remembered as unwaveringly devoted to the well-being of her husband and her household. As a mother and grandmother, she spoke words and taught lessons that would form the foundations and compasses of the lives of many. As she said shortly before leaving this world, her children are her legacy. They will never forget the instruction and comfort given to them by their first teacher and friend.
Dawn’s love for all things created by God will forever be a guide for those she leaves behind, her loving husband of 47 years, Allen Larry Burleson; her children and their spouses: Gordon and Jenane Livermore, Tamara and Dusty Norregaard, Kera and Darrin Dugan, Heather Burleson; grandchildren and their spouses: Keira and Nick Cipullo, Brandon Hensley, Felicity and Eric Hernandez, Deanna Dugan, Chalysa Burleson, Jesse Livermore, Brandon Dugan, Morgan Dugan, Madison Norregaard, Dylan Norregaard and great-grandchildren: Addyson Cipullo, Anlynn Littles, Arlo Burleson, Audrey Cipullo.
