Lora Jo Pierce

Lora “Lori” Jo Pierce was born January 16, 1982 in Antioch, CA. She graduated from Tulare Western High School in Tulare, CA in 2001. Lori was on the track team, the tennis team, and sang in the school choir. As a child Lori played baseball, took ballet lessons and loved to jump rope. Lori was the lead cake decorator at Merry Moo’s Ice Creamery in Tulare CA. She obtained her manicurist license in 2010. Lori was also a dog walker and loved animals. Lori taught herself how to play piano and read music in a matter of months. Lori enjoyed drawing, painting, making ceramics, and dancing. Lori also had an excellent eye for taking great pictures and would make videos as gifts. Lori was upbeat, had a good sense of humor, loved to laugh and was forgiving of others. Lori was a hard worker, loved to organize and collected owls. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

Lori is survived by her parents, Rebecca and Robert Simpson; four sisters and brother-in-law’s, Jeannie and Robert Fickes, Amy and Phillip Myers, Kimberly and Tyler Hodges, Christine and Levi Bishop; one brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Angie Pierce; 14 nieces and nephews; one great niece; and two great nephews.

Private family services were held on April 21, 2022.
