

Lourdes (Lulu) Lopez-Rapley, age 46 of Visalia, California passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 in Fresno, California.
Lulu was born in Visalia, California on May 15, 1967 to Edward and Carmen Lopez. She attended Fairveiw Elementary School, Green Acres Middle School and graduated from Redwood High School in 1985. Lulu loved sports, and played volleyball and softball while at Redwood High School. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2009, Lulu married her love and best friend, George Rapley in Tulare, California at Sundale School. The celebrated four years of happiness together. She loved to spend time with all of her family. Lulu enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, going to concerts, watching musicals and going to the beach. She enjoyed cooking and she made the best fried chicken.
Lulu is survived by her loving husband, George of Visalia; one daughter, Cheyenne Lopez-Rapley of Visalia; four stepdaughters, Candice, Wendy, Cary and Brandi; stepson, Tyler Cox; her siblings, Elsa Lopez-Montez and husband, Fred, Eddie Lopez, Alma Perez and husband, Louie, David Lopez and wife, Betsy, George Lopez and wife Delores, Freddie Lopez and wife, Angie; nine nieces, three nephews, two great niece and three great nephews.
Lulu will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia on Thursday, June 20, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
