Lupe Franco- 86- from Ivanhoe, CA, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2016 in Visalia, CA. She was born on December 12, 1929 in Redbanks, CA. Lupe married Salvador Franco in August of 1952. Throughout her life, she worked as a packer and dedicated herself as a housewife for the last 24 years.
Lupe enjoyed gardening, shopping and most importantly, spending time with her family.
Lupe is survived by her husband of 63 years, Salvador Franco, children, Raul Franco (Teresa), Olivia Rojas (Jesus), Rodolfo Franco (Rene), Elva Velasquez, and Martha Gonzalez (Sergio). She has 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Lupe is preceded in death by her daughter Amalia Aceves.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 4:00 pm followed by Rosary at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court St., Visalia on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
