Marjorie V. Berry, age 92, passed away on September 29, 2010 from complications after a heart attack in Visalia, Ca. Marjorie was born December 8, 1917 in Pasadena. She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She attended UCLA where she met Howard Berry, who did landscaping on campus; they married in 1940. They had three children together: James Berry, Roger Berry and Anita Salven.
She always had something going on whether it was building a house, working on the farm, going back to school, teaching, traveling all round the world or taking care of her family. She was also very active in church: she sang in the choir, played bells and even cooked in the kitchen.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, with a grave side service to follow at Visalia District Cemetery.
