She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing of her faith in Jesus Christ. On May 26, 2018, she passed away surrounded by her loving family and entered into the presence of her Savior.
Pam was an avid reader since childhood. She was artistic and had the ability to master any craft she decided to learn. She loved listening to music, singing in the choirs and singing with her nieces and nephews, which she often recorded on cassette tapes. She also spent many happy hours researching her family’s history.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Lavern and Vivian Peck; her sister, Margie Smith, her brother, Gregory Peck; her nieces, Melissa “Missie” Smith and Kristin Knutson; her nephew, Erik Knutson, Jr., and her stepmother, Margaret Peck.
She is survived by her sisters, Pauline (Wayne) Underwood, Roberta (Dale) Smith, Geraldine (David) Hobson, and Debra (Erik) Knutson; her brothers, Wesley (Norma) Peck and Tom (Barbara ) Peck and numerous nieces and nephews to whom she was Aunt Pammy.
Pam graduated from Mount Whitney High School in 1969 and that summer went to work for the County of Tulare. She worked in clerical positions for over 42 years before retiring in 2012.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
