Ramona Jo Wilson

Ramona was born in Cement, OK on August 9, 1930 to James and Mattie Robertson. She and her family moved to California during the “Oklahoma Dust Bowl”. She attended Visalia High School during World War II and was later employed by Klink Citrus.

She Married Elbert Wilson February 5, 1949. They made their home and raised a family in Ivanhoe, Ca. For many years they owned and operated Mills Grove by Cutler Park and enjoyed traveling to Klamath, Ca for the salmon run. Elbert preceded her in death January of 2007.

Ramona is survived by her daughters, Sharon Wilson and Janet Ellis (Tim P. Ellis), three grandchildren, Sunny Olson (Paul Olson), Sarah Ellis (David Huff), Timothy Ellis, great granddaughter Ava Olson and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015, 11 am at Visalia Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
