I worked in the facility where Wally lived with Beverly. He was always a joy to see and was always in the best of moods. I loved seeing him brighten up the lives of those around him, playing hos harmonica and telling stories. I worked in the dining room and one day when he and Beverly had dinner, I offered him dessert and he responded, "No, Bev says I can't have any dessert. She says I'm already too sweet."

Wally was a great man. I remember him being one of the original "wise men" at a Iron Men's retreat. Heaven's gain is our loss. I miss the gentleman...
