CAYCE – A funeral service will be held for Arthur K. Cornelius, Sr., 76, at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Cornelius was born November 17, 1937 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013. He was a son of the late Arthur Knowlton Cornelius and Louise Aileen Judy Cornelius.
Surviving are daughter, Susan Cornelius; sons, Art (Shannon), Mark (Elizabeth) and David (Kristie) Cornelius; grandchildren, Bethany, Cal, Kaleigh, Zachary and Hayden Grace Cornelius; sisters, Jean Fairey, Jesse Haltiwanger and Dot Shealy and brother, Earl Ivey. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Marian J. Cornelius.
