Barbara Ann Davis Poole, 77, was born August 4, 1945 in Goldsboro, NC and passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Lessie Davis of Columbia, SC. She was married to the late Wilbur A. Pool for over 30 years.
She is the mother of a daughter, Robbie Smith and son, the late Rodney Dyar; two stepchildren, Cindy and Danny Poole; four grandchildren, Elisha Smith, Rebecca Smith, Clara Smith, Kayla Dyer; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Linda Hodges, Betty Hutto and Diane Whigham, all of Columbia; four brothers, Leroy Davis (Kathy), Larry Davis (Barbara), Jimmy Davis (Carol) and Charles Davis (Missy), all of Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Speakers will be Brother Wendell Hendrex of Gaston, SC and Brother Michael Dyess of Wilkesboro, NC.
